AI and Creativity: Interviewed by Prof. Francisco Tigre Moura

Last week I was interviewed by Professor Francisco Tigre Moura in his series on AI & Creativity. We had a great conversation about how to manage the coming flood of AI music that my colleagues and I call for academic preparation for in this paper. Prof. Tigre Moura and I also discussed how the “democratization” of creativity that many commercial AI companies claim their models to provide impinges on questions of devaluation of music and arts in general. Then I got some really hard questions about my top three artists that have inspired me both personally and professionally.
