Today is the official start of my research project “Musical Entanglements with AI: Posthumanist Perspectives on Creating, Consuming and Connecting with AI Music”. It also means I have my first day as an employed researcher at KTH, and I have transitioned away from the position as a postdoc in the MUSAiC project. However, not much is changing in my day-to-day work as I will continue collaborating with my colleagues here at KTH, and the topic of music and AI is as relevant as ever.
