Last weekend I took part in a panel discussion at Fylkingen, a venue for experimental music and art in Stockholm. The panel was part of the Listening Biennial, a transnational artistic and research initiative focused on listening and in relation to society, culture, technology and ecology. Together with composer and sound artist Mattias Sköld and artist and sound theorist Brandon LaBelle, the founder of the Listening Biennial himself, we had a wonderful dialogue about the role of listening as a powerful tool for social change.
